Winter is pretty long in my home town and the only metal detecting I've done in the last two whole months is a trip to detect the snow at a local sledding hill. No jewelry and only a few coins, but it kept me sane.

Here's how my daughter and her friend deal with cabin fever. The spray paint is food coloring and water mixed in a spray bottle. The color only lasts a day or so, but the sculpture survived for almost a week in our freezing temps.

The second pic is from today at 11am, looking across the street at my neighbors house. The snow sculpture isn't even a bump on the grass anymore, and is covered by a couple of feet of fresh stuff.

I'm so sick of shoveling snow.

What a cool idea!!!! Wouldn't it be cool if the whole neighborhood did something like that in every yard?? It would be like driving into a wonderland!

Young artist at work, excellent work, very creative, and I can see why you are tired of snow from the picture of the house across the street from you.

I love the sculptures! Tell the girls they did a great job. I feel your pain, just a couple more months :-\.

Now that is so neat...colorful too. I would like to see the whole street done up in sculptures with color. Put those girls to work. ;D ;D
