Now we go tit for tat Jeff. I couldn't get into Yul's version of All Along The Watchtower, much in the same way I didn't get into Dan Matthews version. Then again, after your post, I gave Dave's another shot and liked it 2:39 in. That is a little too long for me to like something, I could be already out the door in that time

I wasn't into Yul's version, but I did find another song by him I loved. Funny how 1 song can make a difference in liking an artist and maybe giving them a second chance.

However, I'll stick have to stick to my 3 strikes and you're out rule

that reminds me of 1969

first I heard it.

the only song I ever heard was watchtower by Anderson till now.

I first heard Yul's version in the movie "The Dancer Upstairs"

and it caught my ear as above normal to me.
but perhaps it was the drama of the movie that helped
but I like it.
