I would love a joke to be true..but I feel it may go deeper then that...I know he wanted a place to post about guns...and I know that he didn't like some of the negative posts that got thrown around from time to time...I wish he would look back though and see the very large hole left without him...Where every he is I hope he is having a good un.

I myself am an AVID gun guy. I carry a gun OPENLY (uncovered) on my right hip whenever I go out . I hang out on a couple gun boards too. Gun boards can often be full of super charged Alpha male AND Alpha female types. All chiefs and no Indians! But we get along because of our stubbornness and good moderators! If TN doesn't have a gun room......oh well. It's a detecting/treasure forum. I'm here because we don't talk MD's on my gun boards. No-brainer.

My point is that I haven't seen ANYTHING on this board that should make anyone want to delete their existence. If Sherm wanted to talk guns.....join a gun board! Talk them over there. If you don't like what you read regarding politics & religion.....STAY THE HELL OUT OF THOSE THREADS! Lord knows I do - the politics discussions can get down tight NAUSEATING.....so I just stay out of 'em!

I don't know why anyone would DELETE themselves! Take a hiatus, if needed. But folks.....it is just an INTERNET FORUM! That's it. NOTHING that happens in this forum should be enough to rock anyone's emotional well being! (aside from the sudden death of a buddy or so).

Delete is cyber suicide. It is permanent.
