Just got my first detector two weeks ago (Whites Coinmaster Pro) and I am having a blast! Purchased a Garrett's Pro Pointer one week ago, and my finds have really multiplied because I now spend less time in the hole searching. So far I have found 82 coins (modern) including a silver nickel-1945 D Jefferson. I found your site and find the posts very helpful. Just bummed that the ground up here will be frozen soon.
