Almost a rare coin but not.

Found 1909,1919S, 1950D, 1944S and 1944 pennies today. The rest was just clad. When I pulled the 1909 from the ground,it looked like it might have had an S under the 1909 and a VDB on the back. But after a good cleaning,it was not to be. Just wishful thinking I guess. HH

I know what you're talking about. Lately, when I pull coins out it's like I'm seeing things on them. Projecting wishful thoughts that get wiped away with the residual dirt.
