On Wednesday I ended up stopping at a drive thru window after regular hours were closed just to see if they had a few loose halves. I was in an area I normally do not get to and killing time before I was supposed to meet someone for a few drinks just up the street.
Well after I asked the teller asked if I could come back tomorrow as she had almost a full box but she couldn't get at them until tomorrow. Because I have been running into a lot of 2000-P boxes lately, I asked if they were all new looking or a mix. She replied a mix.
So Thursday I took a long lunch, long enough to cash in the rejects from my Wednesday boxes (happened to have a branch of another one of my account banks in the same strip mall, how handy) and then stop by and pick up the $490 from the box mentioned the day before. The teller was glad to get rid of them as she said she had them for awhile and they were just sitting there. Of course after I got back to the car and looked at the box I realized that the teller's idea of a while was not really very long as the box was stamped Dec 1, 2006.
Oh well, at least it was a mixed box and not all 2000-P.... :P
Was one of my better boxes
