Almost Silver, Oh no I am not that lucky!

Hey all I got a chance to detect by my house near a small inlet lake and there is a Big tree with rocks sitting there. Anyways I just found remains of a coffee can, I thought I hit silver when I found 4 pieces of a coffee can, I had 50-69 vdi and 2 pieces were in the same spot. And then in a few places I hit the vdi of 85 the Iconic 85 for a coin. I didn't see anything after digging 2 of the holes.

Well that's about, I was so disappointing that I couldn't find any silver.

I did find this Old 1800's Bolt though, It's a square bolt.

Looks like your missing the most important equipment item to me(nice truck tho)! I never go out without my Garret Pro-Pointer now. Saves a lots of time finding items in the dirt, also good for when near an item to help keep from gouging it, I sign items a lot less often now! Apparently I am missing bandwidth still here, your other pictures did not load up for some reason.

Yep, look for those consistent 80s on up and they should be quick blips when you swing the middle of the coil over it.

What was the sound of the 85? Try changing angles and see if you still get the same reading. Also use your iron audible to check it out.

Hey MackDog, I cannot remember sir, Its been quite a while like 2-3 day's gone by since I went there.
