hi all i have got a Altai detector it has sensitivity meter and battery test discrimination dial that i don't know much about ear phone jack and a red Burton on the hand grip that i also have no idea about dose any one have any idea how to work it and or any literature about it

Check out the MD series of detectors from CHINA. The Altai like a lot of others are all produced there. Once you´ve found the appropriate photo, just note the model name and search for the PDF manual in Google
