I got this somewhere a few years ago, and it has always perplexed me. Try as I might I can't find any information about an aluminum foundry in Newport Ky, nor an aluminum process called Hartsfeld.
This little token, or whatever it is, is about the size of a dime, maybe a bit smaller, with the Lord's Prayer on the reverse. I get an impression it is from the late 19th century, or around 1900, but I don't know. I do know that there were times before the Bayer Process made aluminum economical, the metal was more valuable than gold. I doubt that this was one of those valuable pieces, but the Hartsfeld Process does intrigue me.
Any ideas?
