Aluminum Cans

I read on another post here that cat food cans are made from aluminum , is this true? I thought they were manufactured from tin?

A lot of them are.....just do the magnet test. I would however not throw them in with soda cans.....they are probably a different type of aluminum.

do you think they are a purer type of aluminum, most of the ones I find around here are made from aluminum, as my neighbor has around 10 to 12 cats at her house, as for me i don't really care for cats.
