Checked like usual at the supermarket and found about $1 mixed US/Canadian. That included a 64 roosevelt. That was my 3rd silver this year - all 64 roosevelts.

I know its not much but I'll take free silver and money any day.

Pete,
Way to go. I also visit the coinstar when at the local grocer. I got my first two silver Roosevelt's last month.

NICE! I got a 64 rosie about three years ago and have been checking ever since. In July or early August I got another rosie, a 1946 this time. Then, on Halloween about 4pm I hit the store for some candy to give out the kids and there was two quarters and a dime in the reject bin. One of the quarters is a 1940!

Pete, Congrats! I spotted some coins there a couple weeks ago and it was all Canadian!

Nice job on the Coinstar finds! :occasion14:

Congratulations. It never gets old, does it?

I've had my share of skunk searches (90% would be in the ballpark). But I estimate that 10 percent or more of the dimes I've found have been silver. It's like having the machine do your hunting for you.

Checked the other day a quarter and two dimes but just clad !

Nice find. Ours are mostly empty, but I did manage a few silver Rosie's and a Merc this year.

Thanks All.

Had to stop in the supermarket for some last minute thanksgiving items yesterday and found some canadian change plus a 57 Roosevelt.

Happy Thanksgiving All!

I'm checking the coin machine every time now after all the post about it.
