It’s actually a Candy Creek but they are considered Dalton time frame now like a in betweenNice point & material. I'm thinking a Copena point though.
I’m enjoying it now and am proud of it. When I pass I’m having this point added to my ashes for burialI bet the Indian who made that was proud of that one, as I would be. Very nice.
Had another guy one time call it a Super Dalton cause it has the Superman S on it lolCertainly a stunning looking point, certainly one to be looked at for many moons.
So did you find any treasureKiller!!!
That is beautiful. Great find. I see why you like it.Easter Dalton Early Archaic found in 2020

No not obsidian. It’s a chert from here. I find many types of black chert in my area. It’s actually wet I went back and retrieved the original pictures from when I first found it and washed it off. It’s dried out since but still shows good color just not as brilliant as the first find. Found it 4 years ago.Creekside that's amazing! Is it obsidian?
That Dalton has left handed beveling. Many do. I’ve never been able to figure why they did that. Were there left handed Dalton people? I’m a lefty and beveling like that doesn’t work right for right handed people. Only Daltons are beveled that way in numbers. Nearly every early archaic piece that followed Dalton are right hand beveled.Me too. I love Daltons. Don't have any dark ones, just red and creamy colors.
Must of known what they were doing to get the inclusion just rightSweet point. Absolutely one of the best rock choices I’ve seen.
Old style Dalton for sure. We don’t have that style here that I’ve seen. Ours are in between Dalton and Early Archaic like late DaltonMe too. I love Daltons. Don't have any dark ones, just red and creamy colors.
