The first 60-minutes of hunting this 1940's house was a celebration of mem's and rusty clad so I hereby dedicate those recoveries to the U.S Mint (and their infinite wisdom).
However, I did have the last laugh not more than 15-feet from where I was parked and got the "perfect" dollar tone signal & VDI but, I had my doubts. . . after all, my detector never lies
.
Anyway, I dug down about 5" and there she was. . . in all of here silver glory along with three WHEATS that
had kept her company for decades. After ten minutes of composing myself, I started swinging over a walk-way area that had been just torn-up. . . and out flew this "Manoil No. 706 Rocket Car". . . all I could think about on the way home was Elton John's "Rocket Man" that was playing softly in my head.
