This was from this week, but I was able to hunt an incredible property and scored two bucket lister coins in two hours! Unfortunately, the homeowner changed her mind after I did the front yard, and I had to leave. It happens sometimes, but too bad it happened at this place!

Please go to my YouTube channel, NE Pa History and Archaeology Search, to see the video of this great hunt. In the meantime, here are some pictures of the finds.

Love the 1907 silver trifecta!

Simply amazing finds! I'm sorry you got moved off of that permission, because those coins and relics are beautiful! Great work!

Outstanding old coin and relic hunt, congrats! :occasion14:

Gasp! Amazing!

You got some real beauties from that hunt. Congrats

Thanks, this was just the front yard! Couldn't believe all three silver barbers were the same year..just amazing.

I watched the video of this hunt. Looks like a one-of-a-kind site. Too bad she changed her mind, but I've had the same thing happen to me too. You got some bucket listers, so
that should help ease the pain a bit:tongue3:

Those are some great finds that sucks she changed her mind

Great looking early silvers, love the holed LC and the look of that early crotal bell.

Dave

Great hunt ... well done.

I have to ask... what method used on coin cleaning ?

Great finds, well done....

That's so unfortunate about the change of mind, but man did you get some beauties in the time you had- Congrats!

Congrats on the temporary permission, that was a real winner, that's some great coins & relic saves, congrats on the hunt

Ditto - Nice Finds. Cleaning method?

Hmmm did I miss something ?

Will re-read in morning... for silver doesn't come out of the ground looking like that round here.

Awesome saves....sad ya had to leave..........:dontknow:

Great hunt ... well done.

I have to ask... what method used on coin cleaning ?

Thanks for checking it out! For the large cent and Indians, I just soaked them in olive oil and then toothpicked them lightly. Although controversial, with the silver coins, I wet them and use some baking soda to lightly rub the stains and discoloration off them with my fingers. This shines them up, but it WILL take the patina away as well. I do not recommend doing this if you happen to find a rare or key date silver!
