OK, Here is how I would do it.

No Glove.

Crystal Clear Rubber. Many layers.

Cut a hole in the Glass,
have the Rubber Professionally
bonded to the hole so it is next to impossable to tell
the Glass From the Rubber.

The Rubber layers all have Slices but all in different spots
as he pushes his fingers Up & down & left & right
he's Digging his way through these slices.

Reach in Grab the card & after pulling it threw,
Wipe the area with the tissue to make sure all layers of
the Rubber seal & prevent leakage

The Card was Never put back in the Deck.

It was Slipped to an Accomplice who Dropped it in from the top
at the Exact second he "Flailed" (for lack of a better word)
the cards at the Glass.

Notice a Black Cover on top of the Aquarium.
