I don't think it is Amazonite. The structure looks all wrong to me. It looks like soapstone. Try a hardness test, Amoazonite is a microcline feldspar, with a hardness of 6. Let us know, it looks like a neat rock! :thumbsup:
 

What part of Colorado did you find it at ?
 

It is definitely amazonite. The cleavage planes give it away. Soapstone can be scratched with a finger nail.

Hi guys,

I did a test on it, it barely even cuts with a knife, it's extremely strong.
 

It's not jadeite honestly. It's not green at all. It's a very bright blue. I'll post another pic here
