Went out and hit quite a few spots this weekend and also got to meet fellow local T-Netters Mike(MikeRo) & John(HighVDI) Saturday - Very nice guys & Fellow Equinox swingers! Other than clad I did terrible on coins but had a few cool finds.

1910 Boy Scouts token by an old home site in Greene County, Pa:

Silver Ring was snagged in front of a mid 1800s feed store in Fayette County, PA. Too bad the rock was missing :dontknow::

Finally, My favorite find of the weekend was this American Legion medal from a convention held in Harrisburg, PA in 1930. I found it behind an 1800s school house in Fayette County, PA:

I can't find too much information about it but I did find a picture of one with the ribbon on Google image search:

Thanks for looking & Happy Hunting,

Nice finds. Your medal appears to be made to be a watch fob. Cool find. Second thought it does appear to be a medal too.

My buddy Adam also said watch fob when I first dug it.

Hi, nice finds. Congrats:icon_thumleft:

Your Boy Scout medal is from the first year it was formed...1910. Maybe has a little value? Gary

Cool finds. I find it interesting that the boy scouts used a swastika emblem. I may have to research that.

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

That Boy Scout token is a 1910 vintage like Toddspoint said. The swastika was a good luck symbol before Hitler made off with it. Nice find! When i used to live down that way, Green county was my favorite area to hunt.

If you travel in Asia you will see the swastika in a lot of places. It has been around for over a 1,000 years. It was a symbol of good fortune until it was adopted by the Nazi party and acquired a new evil meaning. Many early good luck tokens have the swastika, with a horseshoe, clover etc like the one on your token. If I am not mistaken your token was an advertising give away for a shoe company. It was not produced by the Boy Scouts.

Nice finds and good post. Keep swingin.
