Several days ago I posted a scraper with a very distinct graver spur and I guess it made me realize that much of the time I don't take much notice them.

I went through some of my scraper finds and pulled out some that were made with graver spurs. Some are more obvious but I believe there's at least one on each of these.

I have noticed that even though often very subtle, many of these tool types have a very sharp little projection, usually off to one side of the working edge of the scraper.

These are very interesting scrapers, Interesting observation about the sharper projection to one side or the other.
