I had a good time with a couple buddies Saturday & saved a little history! We were just riding around prospecting new sites & we secured permission to some fields near an early 19thc plantation (supposedly a camp very close). My best fund was a ???6 Indian head penny. I also found some other interesting relics including an interesting button & a Civil War era bullet casing (since its mangled hard to ID). Im not sure about the unusual brass piece, any help is appreciated. My buddy Chuck had the find of the day with a 1795 large cent. We didn't hunt long but we found a few keepers & a lot of new places to investigate in the near future.
