An old 1900-1930's house govt owned and vacant..Can u give any advice?

Heya fellow Tnetters!!!

I have recently found a vacant house 1900-1925 on a list of historic places in a small park..I have been there with my ace 150 several times and have only found a few modern pennies and dimes.....

I hunted it about 20 times..

I don't understand why I am not finding any older coins or relics...

Do you think its hunted out? Every time I have been, never seen another MD'er!

Is my machine a piece of junk?

Should I spend more than two hours looking?

I appreciate your advice!!!!

I hunted it about 20 times..
Hunt another 20 times
Find a more promising site...

I don't understand why I am not finding any older coins or relics...
Maybe because there are none to be found...
Or maybe they are at a depth greater than the capability of the MD...

Good possibility...
Maybe the structure was moved from another site...

Is my machine a piece of junk?
Not likely...
Maybe...
Could be....
Probably is....

The time you spend each time is to be determined by you...just make sure its productive time...
When you are tired, you tend to get sloppy...
Take a lot of breaks and bring snacks and a lot of beer....lots

I appreciate your advice!!!!
Remember its a hobby not an advocation...
Watch out for randy squirrels...
Bring lots of beer....

A question........ Govt owned in a small park. Is there a possibility the structure had / has been relocated. If theres a chance it had historical significance it could've been moved.

Have you tried other likely looking areas further away from it in the park? Possibly there were other buildings close by.

Have you done Steps 1 - 3? (research, research, research)?

I agree with stefen ,brings lots of beer ,sip as you scan dont gusell "JK" It is possible its hunted out ,and with the 150 your depth isnt that good ,your looking at about 5 to 6 inch ruffly and considering its florida lots of sandyloom ,coins would probally sink to deeper depths and I have run across a few sites where it was already hunting out back in the 70's and thats why there are no indications of anyone ever being there .If you find piles of iron objects 9 times out 10 its been hunted out ...and be carefull on government owned land !!! Good luck !!!!
