Just got back from vacation and got out for the first time in about 3 weeks. Went to my favorite big Chicago park for about 2 and a half hours and was joined by Clad and Gimmie. Found a spot where the grass was short enough to hunt. I have hit this area hard in the past but there was still some goodies left.
First good coin was a full liberty 1867 Indian. Later on I got a 1907 Indian with warts and a little while later put my coil over an 1883 seated dime. Also got 5 wheaties. All the coins were about 4 to 6 inches deep and the area was real trashy but I was hunting very slow.
