Anchor Found in 140 ft

Looking for any and all info on this anchor.
Found in about 140 ft in the Gulf Of Mexico
Seems to be an Admiralty Anchor
Does the square Stock spot suggest it was a wooden stock?

I usually care at least 200 lbs of liftbags on me while diving at any time. We back dove this and brought extra bags down

STT, Great Save on this old anchor. This one looks old. Just curious, where do you plan to display this piece? I'm sure this was a little work and coordinated effort to bring this to the surface, but by all looks it seems to be worth the effort. Let us know when you can get this anchor dated. Thanks for sharing.

Nothing else in that area? I'd hit it hard with a metal detector. Also, you need to check into preservative methods to keep that anchor from further deterioration. Oh, and welcome to Tnet!
