Hi I've got this coin I can't figure out what it is exactly
It keeps getting dismissed by people on this forum as bronze
But everyone I've shown in person says it's too soft to be bronze or brass

And it feels in the hand like gold. Or some precious metal..
Don't think it's gold. But possibly a mixture of silver and bronZe maybe? And that's why ta so soft yet still have a bronze look ???
Idk I need help. Everyone says it's an antoninus pius but I can't find a Antonios pius that looks like this front and back.

Any help appreciated. image.webp

In different lighting it appears too have a high yellow color, in dark it looks dirty and almost like bronze

What's yall opinions?

And profeSionals on here.. Point me in the right direction.

First thing I would do is re-post this in the coins forum, or what is it forum... wrong eyes will see this in Spanish cobs thread.

The correct attribution should include "COS IIII" which is the end lettering on the reverse side.
Consul Quartum= Consul for the 4th time.

Looks like it could be a base metal "Limes" denarius. It's hypothesized they were used to attenuate coinage shortages in the border regions, or to pay soldiers, and when they returned to more civilized regions they could be redeemed for good silver. Maybe it just has a very strange patina and the photos don't really show the color well.
