Beautiful fibula! Typ La Tene II, 250-150BC.... Absolute stunning find! I put a Banner vote in for this one. And an iron fibula is also a find only you guys from Romania and Hungary can make. Always inpresed about the quality of your iron finds. :icon_thumleft:

Wow the stuff you are finding is the stuff of dreams. I get excited to find a coin from the 1800's!!! Can't wait to see parts 3 and 4

Nice!!! Congrats!!! There’s sure to be some coins somewhere close!!!

Is this a professional project or just for recreation?
Do you get to keep your finds or are they turned into your government?

Just a hobby...I am interested in history and I consider myself an archeology enthusiast. All these artifacts were taken to the museum according to the law.

Hope they get displayed and not stored in a box somewhere, never to be seen again.

Looks like a fun adventure.

Very nice post well done and documented. Was this on a professional dig ? Amazing finds and in great shape for the age.
I just read above where someone asked the same question.
Nothing wrong at all in documenting finds it can form a map for future likely hunts.

It's just an amateur dig.

With very professional documentation.... :icon_thumright: Hopefully the information you provide the archies with is treat with care by them.

Agreed.
That nice early Fibula example, hardly ever gets imported into Britain, so my chances are near zero. It's in amazing condition for a large (ish) example!

That fibula is unreal. I had to look it up being from south Georgia, lol. That has to be banner material!
