Finally pulled a 1942S!!! Nice condition too:


Now just need to find a 1943D and I'll complete my Jefferson Collection...
Also managed to pull my 15th buffalo, only 3rd no date!


Sadly these were the only 2 finds in 2 bags, but hey, any day finding a Buffalo is a good day in my book. Happy hunting everyone!

If you can manage to find the 43D before Jan 1st, you may the first on this board to complete a set within one year's time. That'll be quite a feat. I'm rootin for ya!
Worst part about needing that date is the 43P is the most common silver, which means you'll get lots of false alarms.

I would imagine finding a 50d or 39d would probably be as tough as a ‘09SVDB cent in the 50s. Sounds crazy, but just think how diluted the coins are these days - mostly get 2010 & newer seems like.

hehe the way this story will end is that Rosco will do a dozen or so more bags and not find the 43D. Yet, on his way home from a bank stop he will stop by the nearest convenience store to get a cup of coffee and in his change...voila! the piece to complete the collection! Keeping fingers crossed for you bud.

I've only gotten one 50D, but have 2 39D's and 5 39S
