After hours of detecting/sifting in heat I managed to dig out another Jersey (#4 from this site) This one is clipped but in good shape. Now I just have to go into the Maris chart and ID it unless one of you coin guy know off the top of your head:hello:

NICE ONE! Cool find.

Ive dug so many toasted coppers that I dont even enjoy seeing a big copper in the hole much anymore. I just know how its going to look. Clearly not a problem for you

That's a very nice state copper! Those NJ coppers have eluded me, I've only ever found CT coppers.

Very Nice!!! Congrats!!!

OUT·STAND·ING find Cannonball. Thanks for sharing...

Looks like a 38-Y to me. Great find.

Truly great find! If I'd found it here (in OR) it would be a BANNER find. Appaarently they are more common in your area ...

Wow!! That coin is nice and crisp, all my colonial coppers look like mini sewer covers

Wow great detail on that one!!! Very nice coin and the fact that it's clipped kind of makes it better if that's not a blasphemous thing to say on here!

Awesome old copper! :icon_thumleft:

Great Day !
