As Gorgets go that's a fine one, although it's damaged.
The major difference here is the miles most of us walk to find anything.
Most of us don't open up our wallet and buy these fine specimens of Native American culture.

I walked fields for countless hours myself and found some nice relics over the years. There is nothing wrong with "opening up your wallet" when a collector appreciates something he will never obtain looking in the dirt in 2017. All of the best collections today and in the past have been put together with the good ole dollar bill. Nothing wrong with it.
