Hey folks,

Still fairly well snowed in here. The morning low tide left more clearance than I thought so I hit the sand for a while this morning.

Mostly found a lot of junk but I didn’t manage one keeper; a 1928 buff.

This thing was in rough shape when I first found it. An olive oil bath helped me remove a lot of the gunk.

Happy hunting out there!

Looking at that crusty old timer is like looking in a mirror.

Congrats on yer buffalo nickel!

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

A Buff is always a good find. Looking at it closely I see that it's not worn much. That old Buff was probably lost in the 30's?

I would think so. If it has survived ~90 years in the ocean and still has a legible date, it must’ve had a pretty strong date to begin with!

Excellent job on saving the Buffalo.
Congratulations
