Another bucket lister!

Me and bladerunner2019 were at a home that had previously been hunted by someone else. Not 5 min into the hunt Bladerunner walks up to me and says “you ain’t gonna believe this”. He had found a 1905 barber quarter. 10-15 min later I get a banging quarter signal and out pops this 1906! Neither of us have previously dug one so this was amazing hunt for us. We are on a old silver hot streak as we both dug bucketlisters last week. I dug a seated half last Friday and he a trime on Saturday.
We also met some great people this weekend whom were very nice. We may be getting a new permission if it pans out. It’s a 200 yr old plantation house.

One was on the slope of a ditch. I’m guessing it was uncomfortable for him to detect that spot, maybe. The other was in a field next to the house. The home owner said he actually wasn’t sure he went over there. I’m guessing he didn’t. I’ve knocked on the doors of many old homes in the area. Many have told us their lot had been detected by someone just weeks or months before. At first we went down the road after hearing this from people. One time we detected one of the homes anyways and found 4 silvers and some Indians. Then another we found a merc and some Indians. After that we detect away if the owners are ok with it. Whoever he is he definitely misses stuff. Glad he does too.

Congrats on those Barbers!!! Amazingly I found my first Barber Quarter about 2 years into detecting. Of course I was excited then it took me another year to find a barber dime. There is no method to the madness! I love those coins!

Yes, I would rather hunt with a friend than by myself. Good to have someone watch your back and come up with ideas. It also means I don’t have to knock on all the doors... hahahahaha. I actually found my two best hunting buddies on Treasurenet.
