From across the "pond". It is quite thick and there used to be something on the reverse, but no more. odd.webp

I cant believe all the people that find old old coins like these. Great find whatever it is looks like one of the super old roman coins

Just wait till Monday when I get home from the blizzard ravaged beach! Then I'll have something to brag about! We're gotten 3 gold coins off the beach, 2 gold rings, 1 huge 14k earring, 50 or more pieces of 18th century broken pottery, 2 arrowheads, a few Spanish 18th century silvers and about 15 or more coppers from a known shipwreck, plus 2 jettons and about 100 other misc small pieces from the wreck. Not to mention a whole fossil collection, shell collection and sea glass collection. I just love dirt fishing. My mom got me started when I was like 8. In the days of 5 cent Coca Colas.

I thought at first a clothing lead seal, but the weight is wrong and it's too thick and solid not 2 piece.
