Most fuses / fuse holders are brass. From the white patina, it looks like lead?
Sorry, don't think it is a fuse.

Thanks for the input. It's not brass or zinc. Found it a few feet from bullet. Looks like a plug of some sort made of lead. Heavy

I posted pics on the What is it forum. Someone mentioned it is from a old car battery. What a bummer if true.
