It sure isn't from lack of trying that I don't snag gold lately. It seems to be hiding where my coil is not going. I will snag some soon hopefully. But no matter, having fun is what counts.
Got a nickel signal and found the 1942 nickel under the muck and deep in the gravel. Swung my coil over the hole and got a high tone. Found the 1940 quarter. You can see where the nickel was touching it. Got a merc, a rosey and sterling ring. That was all the silver. Oldest penny is 1917. One 1960 house. The 42 nickel is not silver. Two buffalo's, a 1925 and a 1937.
Brass dog pin is unique. So is the tag that says Saunders Service. Got to look that critter up.
Beautiful day to swim and play.

I can't find any information on Saunders Service in Detroit. The way the numbers are stamped makes me believe it is almost as old as the beach is and that is 1909. Any help?
