Another day on an old site...

Had a few hours today before the rains fell. Grass was high and very dew laden and pants and boots got wet quick (still waiting for the spring plow). That didn't deter me though the swinging was harder. Still did fairly decent recovering five buttons, three shot musketballs, and some square nails. On the smallest cuff button there is the words "scovill" very clearly and I was happy to see that as most of the buttons we find there is little left to read. Any day in the field is a good one!
