Went to a different farm today with my digging buddies only to find some fresh holes dug. It was hit pretty hard.We still managed
5indianheads between us. They are trashed though. I got two and one is a 1889 the other is too far gone. Some other doodads and more pottery shards. On the way home I stopped by a place where I had gotten seven silver and 25 wheaties. I had the 11" blue max 256 on and wanted to see If I missed anything. I got a nice strong sounding signal and after digging around 7 or 8 inches I saw that site we all love to see. Shiny silver in black dirt. 1954 Washington quarter in nice shape. I got two more wheaties before heading home. I was really hoping to find that beautiful seated lady but I'll take what I got anyday. I must say I was impressed with how hard that quarter hit at that depth. Good Luck everyone.
