another first today gold 1924 class ring

I went out to an old scout camp that Seeker and I have hit before today. John couldn't make it he was a bit under the weather by the way gratz on the first place in bowling league. was a bit muddy back there but did find 10 wheats a buffalo nickle and a clad dime. also a religious medal and a scout button. finally I found 2 gold rings about 8 feet apart in the middle of nowwhere. the one is just a cheap plated one with an arrow on it so probably was a scouts. the other is my first class ring. 1924 cant read the school name too worn but has WSH engraved on the inside.

A bit under the weather ha!!!! Thats what happens when you bowl in a 24 team league ,win first place and go out and celebrate....you stay out to late and have a few cold ones.....but it was worth it....!!!
But I'm sorry I missed the big find ....Congrats, the school ring looks sweet ! Might take a ride there tomorrow....!!!! WTG

Way to go on the finds Timmy....That 1924 class ring is nice....but thats probally Johns....By the way I talked with his doctor...a touch of rum-itis ....he will be cured quickly after seeing what he missed out on!!Next time just call me and Lisa...we will go with and we are alot more fun! That scout camp is really being good to you guys!

Congrats on the gold ring and all the coins. I spent 4 hrs out yesterday and only found two wheaties!

1924, that would probably make the person who lost the ring ( or to whom it belonged to originally ) about 100 yrs old.(if a college ring add another 4-6 yrs), if this person was still alive.
Maybe it was passed down to a son or grandson? By the looks of the wear, I'd guess it was worn for at least 25-30 yrs, maybe more. That would make it lost sometime in the 50's or 60's. Just a guess, that's the fun part of finding things, the mystery!!
