Field walking and ground probing today. A lot of flint flakes again.
The one shown by itself made me wonder. I wanted to see it as a preform point. However I’m leaning to it being just a flake. It has a flat backside and possibly scalloped edges. Also exhibits signs of heat treating. The problem is with the front face (shown). It is somewhat pyramidal. Still, it was great to get out and do some scouting for treasure.
