Looks a bit like Iron. Is it magnetic?

Not magnetic. I don't want to destroy it... so I guess I will get a dental pick and see if i can pick out some of the silvery stuff. Or get a local rock hounder to look it over.

It could very well be mica..but it looks more dully metallic than any mica I have seen. Sort of like a silver leaf that would be applied to an object for example, to gilt it. Well come to think of it, i guess mica can look that too, hehe. It just looks sort of malleable..but won't be sure till i get a dental pick. And it is heavy.

Anyway appreciate your replies! Thought if it was an lead or silver ore it would pop right out and be knowable. So it probably is not. If i find out it is..I will post!
