I've been following old road bed in Madison county and coming across old home sites. Here are some relics from a house site I found this morning. Notice the old ceramic fragments. They date to early to mid 19th century. Also got a flat button with a backmark of E.T. Moore/extra rich. This button dates to 1830's. The most interesting thing is probably the old silver plated brass shoe buckle to a child's shoe.

Mighty fine, Ripcon, keep up the good work.

Really nice finds considering the heat. :icon_thumright:

Thanks for the comments, guys. This heat has really been brutal. I normally don't hunt this time of year. I know my finds don't "set the world on fire" but I'm glad you enjoy my posting. Thank!
