Another interesting eagle find I need your help ID'ing

This eagle item was also found in Ohio by a friend.

Any ideas what it may be? I asked for a couple more pics with a coin or ruler for scale and from different angles so I'll post those when I get them.

I can't find an exact match, but possibly part of an antique oil lamp bracket?

It certainly could be a decorative part of an oil or gas lamp frame as Ken suggested.
I would like to know if the detail is cast on both sides?

If it's only on the one side, then it's likely furniture/clock decoration.
