I spotted this rock object while rabbit hunting. It was 3 feet under the sand resting on the hard pan until it was exposed the day before by a high wind event.

I took the photographs and left it where I spotted it, not far from a subsurface spring. The hard pan was normally covered by at least 3 feet of sand. I think it might be a Pinto point. I’ve superimposed a known Pinto point for comparison. What do you think?

I'm gonna say no....looks like a chip....but good eye for flint....goat
 
Ant - it's not exactly not an artifact. I believe you have a refuse flake there. Essentially it's the left over pieces from someone crafting a stone tool. If you're finding flint like that there should be artifacts in the area. Head back out there and scour the area and see what you find.
