Another Newbie From SC

Hi folks,
I'm new to the forum and new to gold hunting. I have already found a little color over near Abbeville so I'm pumped. I live in the Upstate of SC near Greenwood. Love the site and all the info here. I've been posting very little so far but I've been reading everything I can on here about prospecting. Now if I could just find that Confederate Gold I'd be set. It's either buried between my house at Puckett's Ferry and Abbeville or it's buried in Georgia. I've read stories that point to both places as the likely spot. I've also read stories that say it's already been found. I like to think otherwise. Hey dreams are what prospecting and treasure hunting are all about.

Thanks folks. I'm fixing to go out here in a few minutes and see if I can knock down a gobbler to make some turkey nuggets for supper. Afterwards, whether I get any turkey meat or not, I'm gonna do some panning in a few new creeks where I'll be hunting.
