Hunted for a couple hours at the same lot I found a Tucker Transfer Co token two days ago. This time I found a Winan's Merchantile Co token good for 50 cents. Google search shows they were in Norman, OK. I was able to pull up two newspaper ads from 1909 and 1910 that sold clothing, horse buggies, horses. These tokens are so interesting to unearth and check their history.

I like finding tokens, as much as I like finding coins. It’s all about history for me. Register at tokencatalog.com, and see what your token is worth to a collector. You may be surprised. Good luck in the future!

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Nice looking token. Any token is fun to find, and being able to research it just makes it all the more fun.

Nice piece of history! :icon_thumleft:

Good looking token. Congrats

tokens are pure cool and there are so many of them. they had tokens for all kinds of stuff and that makes them even more awesome to find. gotta love them

Very cool find. I haven't found any store tokens. Just a civil war one and a modern aluminum bar token.

Welcome Doc, sweet token!
