got out for 3 hrs today about 2 hrs at a park and an hr at my brothers yard, Hunt #1 at the park got me 1.30 in clad, i found 34 pennies (including a 1944s wheat)
just under the grass. looked like someone threw a handful of pennies at the tree nearby. This one was Purple??
. Also dug this cool liberty national bank plate from pittston pa.
The plate was attached to a oval shaped container that said currency on the one side. It was totally obliterated but i managed to pull the plate off w/o damaging it. also a cheap gold earring, and a lock. Hunt #2
at my brothers yard got me 2 more wheats 1958 and 1924.
This is where i scored my first ever silver a 44 merc about 2 months ago. One more neat find from today was this piece of aluminum with an obvious bullet hole through it.
whats the chances of that
thanks for looking and HH
