Went back to a north side park I hunt alot. Hunted the area where I found a 1936 Washington quarter last week. 2 hour hunt resulted in 3 silver dimes and 8 wheaties. All three dimes were in a small grassy area about 7 yards wide and 20 yards long. I had never hunted this little patch until I found the quarter there. 2 of the dimes were 7 to 8 inch iffy signals that bounced around alot but had a good sound to them. Probably would not have dug those signals a year ago but I am relying more on sounds and less on the numbers with good results. Dimes are 1918D, 1937 and 1948D

Silver sounds great!

Not being an ETrac guy (yet) I wonder how far off do these coins signal on the numeric values from good reads and how much deeper and more accurate the tone id is than the numeric?

That and the magical ability to read these in trashy sites amazes me!

Nice hunt!
