We are still struggling for options but our first 15 minute wander on a game strip paid off big time. Cru'Dad got a Sept Sev. Denarius which takes us to 18 this year!

We then tried a few other spots including doing tire tracks.

Ended up with 3 Roman Bronze Coins, Victorian silver piece & bits...

4+ Hrs hunting time.

Best coil I've ever used. Not put the 9" back on since I used it.

Congrats on #18 for the year, and a nice one it is to boot.
I know that roman gold is getting closer with every hole you guys dig.

Nice. Jealous. None like that around here.

Nice late second century denarius! You guys are crushing the Roman silver this year!

Very nice detail on that ancient Denarius! :icon_thumleft::treasurechest:

So guys in the UK are so lucky to have history going so far back, great finds.

Very well done. Keep this up Crusader and Her Majesty will expect you to open a museum.

Another nice payoff for you guys, and just when things weren't looking so good. But that's the way it works sometimes ..... Great looking coin!

What about the buttons? Are they roman too?

What about the buttons? Are they roman too?

Mostly late 18th C.

Roman's in Britain had no buttons, they had various fasteners including toggles & fibula (Brooches).
