That's some nice stuff! Love the display case! Wish I had my MD when I was in Bama.

That's a pretty sweet case! How long did it take you to make it?
 

the flag may have been a grave marker for a veteran. I like the porthole look of the looking box/display. now I gotta go make me one.

I Love This Hobby, You just never know what your walking over.
Hey Codes, it took me about a week and a half to make the case.
I didn't really have the tools to make it but I made do.
And the wood was over 100 year old (cherry) and almost to hard to work with.
I find all this stuff where there use to be a Union winters quarters. There were
several hundred troops here at times. I found the little flag way up on the
hill above the encampment area.

Very nice finds and it all appears to be quite old! The case is great, too! Look forward to seeing some more!
 

That whole display is a class act. The finds are fantastic, and the style of that case is genius. I'd be very proud to display that piece.
