Another walk on the mountain

Hey All,
This is from the last couple of weekends out on the mountain here in Alabama.
Anybody know anything about the little American Flag? it has 13 stars and still has the pin soldered on.
It's made of copper or brass.
Then I like to make a little something to put my finds in.

the flag may have been a grave marker for a veteran. I like the porthole look of the looking box/display. now I gotta go make me one.

I Love This Hobby, You just never know what your walking over.
Hey Codes, it took me about a week and a half to make the case.
I didn't really have the tools to make it but I made do.
And the wood was over 100 year old (cherry) and almost to hard to work with.
I find all this stuff where there use to be a Union winters quarters. There were
several hundred troops here at times. I found the little flag way up on the
hill above the encampment area.
