Antique Glass Lamp

I can remember this in my grandmothers house as far back as 1945-46. It’s about 18” tall. There are no markings anywhere except on the bulb socket which notes a 1909 patent date. I’m looking for any information including “maybe it’s a” and if anyone has idea of the value.
