I found this object with a reverse swastika on it. how old is it? how much is it worth. There is nothing on the back.

Long before Hitler's swastika symbol became their emblem, the 'reverse swastika', like yours, was a sacred symbol to Hindu, Jain, and Buddhist religions, as well as in Norse, Basque, Baltic, and Celtic Paganism. I'd guess your find has more education value than monetary.

Growing up, on the shelves of the family library was a set of the collected works of Rudyard Kipling. There were several swastikas stamped on the spine - as noted above, an ancient symbol in India.

Just to be clear, here - it was the Nazis who reversed it. Doing the world a favor, actually.
