I found this in PA, it is 2 inches round and has the words Ansonia clock co. printed on it. No doubt a clock piece, any idea of its function? Thanks in advance

Thanks jewelerguy. I just thought it was strange for them to stamp the company name on the piece.

Most good clock makers will stamp their name on the main frame somewhere.
