First, I will say I believe gold is one of the best investments you could make.

My silver position is full right now so I am slowly accumulating some more gold on the dips.

I like Morgans, but silver dollars are higher premium coins for the silver you get out of them. Unless you are buying culls, and even then you are probably paying over spot and those coins have no numismatic value.

The best deal used to be junk silver coins, but the premiums on those are high too compared to the past. If I was going to buy now I would search for deals on generic one to ten ounce bars or one ounce rounds. If I could find some Engelhards or JMs with a reasonable premium I would get those too. Premiums on silver eagles are too high for me at these prices.

Sometimes you can get good deals on one ounce Onzas and those are nice coins, or maybe some 80% Canadian junk silver--I like the Canadian silver dollars when the premiums are good.

Best deal on silver now is CRHing and finding it at face value.

When you are shopping for silver just try to buy as close to spot as you can !
